Luciano's
We visited Luciano's this week and so far this has been my favourite restaurant to blog about. I've been hoping to visit Luciano's for a while now as it catches my eye every time I pass by and I was not disappointed!
This was a very special meal for us as we were celebrating my Aunt's birthday! We hadn't seen her in a while so it was so nice to catch up.
Luciano's is a fairly new addition to the restaurant market in Glasgow. Burnside has had a rich authentic Italian presence for decades with various cafe's and restaurants - and Luciano's has only added to this. Luciano's is the perfect blend of traditional and modern day Italy. If you love authentic Italian cuisine with a contemporary Italian ambience - a visit to Luciano's is a must.
For starters, I had to have the bruschette. But with the option of tomato, garlic, basil, herbs and evo oil or wild mushroom, garlic, parsley and truffle oil - how could I decide?
I settled for the wild mushroom option and it did not disappoint! My aunt went for the tomato option and my mum opted for the Arancine al tartufo. It was all so good!!
Honestly, I'm not the biggest desert person, but I was convinced to go for the 3 course meal and I am so thankful I did! I had Cannoli Siciliani which was honestly so incredible. Just look at the presentation of this dish!
The restaurant was extremely clean and well cared for. The overall bill was a little costly but in my opinion, totally worth it as the quality of the food was apparent.
Overall, everything was 10/10. I really loved that it was clearly upmarket restaurant but didn't have a pretentious feel to it. The service was incredible and the food was delicious. Luciano's is a hidden gem on the Italian Restaurant market and definitely worth the trip to Burnside to try. This restaurant will absolutely become a favourite to all Italian food lovers throughout Glasgow!
